Your first week, in three steps
Three things to do this week, so your lock is ready for everyday life.
Step 1
Set it up
- Fit your lock using the video for your model, or call us to book an installer in Melbourne or Sydney.
- Set yourself up as the administrator first. Your manual shows how.
- Pair the app, if your model has one. Your manual names the app and shows how.
Step 2
Add your household
- Add everyone who lives with you, by fingerprint, face or palm, depending on your model.
- Register two fingers each, so there's a backup if one doesn't read.
- Give visitors and tradespeople their own PIN code, and delete it when they're done.
Step 3
Know your backup
- Keep the backup key with someone you trust, not inside your home.
- Find the emergency power point. If the batteries run flat, you can power the lock from outside.
- Replace the batteries soon after the low-battery alert starts.
